I had the chance to dust off my camera after quarantine and photograph this lovely family. The dress the little girl is wearing is a family heirloom. It was made by her great-great grandmother for her great grandmother. Each little girl in the family has been photograph in this dress and the photos are displayed beautifully in her great grandma’s house. What a fantastic tradition and an honor to have my photo hung to continue the gallery.
Donnie is very special lady! She captured my heart as a friend from the word hello. It’s a rare treat when you find a kindred spirit and your time with that person is always filling. It was my joy and pleasure to capture this large, amazing family of hers. It was windy and we had kids that were willing to give just so much time so we made quick work of it. I am so glad she has some images of what God has blessed her with for years to come.
We had a perfect fall day for this extended family session. I always enjoy getting to meet an extended family. I am usually connected to one part of the family but it’s a pleasure to meet the rest of the crew. It’s fun to see Grandparents love on their grand babies. To see cousin giggle and enjoy the time together. There is something special about watching a family catch up, interact and love each other. This perfect fall day brought exactly that. What fun it was to photograph this family.
This family is preparing for something I am not sure I could prepare for. They are preparing for life without their dad for a year. He is bravely defending our country in the Army as he is deployed. It was an honor and a privilege to photograph their family and allow them to have a moment captured to hold on to as they are away from each other. It’s a joint effort of sacrifice and willingness to give to our country by the whole family. What an honor it is to know them. Will you join me in praying for the Smith family this year as they serve our country?
When Ava’s mommy asked about 6 month session all I could think is 6 months already? I only need to photograph a newborn then her 6 months session to be reminded time is like sand slipping through our fingers. I adore this stage. When they wobble sitting up, find their feet and are full of drool. Ava’s eyes are nothing less then captivating! I always adore a curtly hair girl as well. Ave is just adorable and I am excited about the images we captured even if I don’t believe she could be this old already!
This session has been months in the making. However it was a surprise gift for Christmas to Sharon and John. It was so hard knowing the sweet gift they were being given and not say a word about it when I would see them. However we pulled it off! This family is so easy to love! They are full of grace, laughs and caring spirits. It was fun to watch the interaction of only an extended family provides. It was such a privilege to capture this family and give them photographs to cherish.
This family is full of transitions. They just moved (which we get the privilege of having them as neighbors) They are also expecting a baby boy soon. Almost big sister Atley is full of joy, and life. She was a so fun to photograph. She kept telling her parents to say cheese and would get on them when they did not. She had me cracking up. She was full of wonder with the rocks and trains. She is at such a great age for exploring. It was a a joy to photograph this sweet family as they capture the moments before becoming a family of 4.
This session was so fun. It was to celebrate an engagement and the new union of this family from the engagement. I loved seeing how the kids already love Trey so much. I also enjoyed capturing Kytrell and Trey as the newness of the engagement brings giggles, sparks and expression of love. What a precious family to get in front of my camera.
Elle’s session was one full of fun adventure. Which may have included a bit of hiking. I loved that she had ideas and thoughts but was also interested in direction and trying different things. It was super hard to narrow these photos down for a sneak peek. This girl is stunning and does not take a bad photo.
I love so much when a client suggest a location that has meaning to them. I love when there is a story behind the scenery. This location was a place that has deep memories and meaning to Eli. It was fun to hear him reminisce about spending countless hours on that bridge and road. We happen to choose a perfect date for the fall to show off it’s beauty. What a joy to photograph this family in this significant location.
