I love when I have clients that suggest fun locations. I can always count on that with Krissie and Travis. This time they decided to go back to the site of their engagement photos. Somehow 10 years has slipped through our fingers and we adventured there again. It was fun to look back and recreate some of their same poses and include their 2 children. It was a gorgeous day and we had fun reminiscing. I always enjoy capturing this family and hope I have the chance to for the next 10 years as well!

Special Lady
Donnie is very special lady! She captured my heart as a friend from the word hello. It’s a rare treat when you find a kindred spirit and your time with that person is always filling. It was my joy and pleasure to capture this large, amazing family of hers. It was windy and we had kids that were willing to give just so much time so we made quick work of it. I am so glad she has some images of what God has blessed her with for years to come.
Easy Going
Olivia was so easy going and fun to work with. I had to give her little direction and she was game for trying anything. We postponed her original session and I am so glad we did. We ended up with a gorgeous day to photograph a sweet, beautiful girl.
Well Kept Secret
This session has been months in the making. However it was a surprise gift for Christmas to Sharon and John. It was so hard knowing the sweet gift they were being given and not say a word about it when I would see them. However we pulled it off! This family is so easy to love! They are full of grace, laughs and caring spirits. It was fun to watch the interaction of only an extended family provides. It was such a privilege to capture this family and give them photographs to cherish.
A New Union
This session was so fun. It was to celebrate an engagement and the new union of this family from the engagement. I loved seeing how the kids already love Trey so much. I also enjoyed capturing Kytrell and Trey as the newness of the engagement brings giggles, sparks and expression of love. What a precious family to get in front of my camera.
Beautiful Family
I will admit I was a bit nervous for this session. Last time we did a family session Eli was younger and lets just say he was not a fan of a me, my camera or the smiling thing. Thankfully he decided I was alright this time around and became my little model! One of our goals was to capture the beauty of fall and even though the leaves were not as cooperative as we like I think we were able to still enjoy the essence of fall with this beautiful family.
Meaning
I love so much when a client suggest a location that has meaning to them. I love when there is a story behind the scenery. This location was a place that has deep memories and meaning to Eli. It was fun to hear him reminisce about spending countless hours on that bridge and road. We happen to choose a perfect date for the fall to show off it’s beauty. What a joy to photograph this family in this significant location.
