I wish everyone in my life could just spend 5 minutes with this incredible family. Here is what I know that 5 minutes would do for you; it would uplift you, inspire you and simply make you smile. Yes, this family is that powerful. You will see people that love each other, serve each other, and strive to honor God in their actions. The weather the day of the session was less then ideal as it decide it was fall instead of summer that day. However, I never heard a single complaint from any of them. I am telling you simply remarkable family, just remarkable! Once we completed the family session we focused on the tiniest of the family as she just turn one year old. She is a delight! She is full of giggles and one of the best smiles that make her eyes disappear. She is also very loved.

A Love Story
I love that this love story is 10 years in the making. I love that this love story includes 4 beautiful children. I love that this love story includes authenticity. Tim and Brittany would the first to tell you that it’s not been easy, it’s not all roses and fairy dust but it’s worth it. Their love story involves moves, job changes, career changes and lots of laughs, heart and sacrifice. Their story involves surrendering daily to God. They are willing to do the hard part of working on marriage so they can have a day to celebrate 10 years. These are the love story I truly love.
Never enough time
Do you have anyone in your life that no matter how much time you spend with them it’s just not enough? I feel like that about the Mercado family. We squeeze in moments here and there through out the year but it never feels like quite enough. It’s almost a guarantee when do find those times my camera makes an appearance. This particular time the focus was a family session. It was as always so much fun to capture this family. I love them so dearly and love to be able to capture images for them.
Difference 10 years makes
Tim and Brittany celebrated their 10 year anniversary. Brittany surprised Tim with a vow renewal ceremony. It was awesome! In 10 years Tim and Brittany have welcomed 4 children (and still fit into her wedding dress!). They were all front and center to experience their parents declaring their love and commitment to each other. I have many more moments to share from this wedding renewal however I couldn’t let this beautiful family photograph wait.
Sweet Girls
I kidnapped my friends two oldest daughters so she could have some moments loving on her newborn. It was great fun for my two kids to have their friends here that they truly miss. Of course I had to take the opportunity while I had them to do a photography session. I feel it counts toward their 5 year and 3 year session that was rushed a few weeks back. I love capturing these two girls. Both have so many expressions and many precious things that make up who God created them to be. It’s a wonder to watch how unique and fearfully made both are.
A Lot to Accomplish in One Day (Part 2 – Newborn Session)
Meet Miss Adalyn. Isn’t she just beautiful? Everything about this baby girl is adorable! She was such a little model for our session. We got to try this bow and that on her, and this prop and that. It was great! I, of course, loved when she woke up so I could cuddle and love her back to sleep. There is something special about this little girl. I saw it in her when I first laid eyes on her. God has amazing plans for her life and I am so glad I get to watch to see what He has in store. Until then just enjoy this precious one.
A Lot to Accomplish in One Day (Part 1)
This family probably looks familiar to you. I get the very distinct pleasure of being their photographer (even though their mommy is becoming a very good photographer herself). What do you do when you need to photograph 3 year old session, a 5 year old session, family session and a newborn session. Why just make a day of it. I love spending time with this family so it sounded like an awesome plan to me! Since we did SO much in one day I decided to break up the sneak peek into two parts. So you are getting the sweet older girls and family today. Look for some really adorable newborn photographs of their very sweet sister tomorrow. Enjoy!
A Sweet Family
The Corn Family won a session through a fund raiser. I am so glad they did. They are the sweetest family. Abby is as smart as she is adorable. I love watching the special interaction she had with her daddy. He had her laughing and telling stories. It was very endearing. Micah is all boy climbing and exploring but stopping long enough to flash me a smile and show off those gorgeous blue eyes. I really enjoyed getting to know this family better and capturing them through photographs.
“The Princess Has Arrived & She is Perfect”
Cailyn’s mama has worked very hard to get to hold this precious baby in her arms. She was on bed rest since 25 weeks. There were countless people praying for the healthy, safe arrival of this adorable girl. As soon as she was born the announcement went out, “the princess has arrived and she is perfect!” The joy on her parents face is evident. I am once again blessed to be able to capture a beautiful newborn in all her sweetness!
Safe and Sound
Some babies I get really anxious to get my hands on and love on. Caden was one of those babies. I have been excited for his arrival just about from the day I heard he was growing in his mama’s tummy. I was anticipating the chance to see Haley, his big sister interact with him. I was looking forward to seeing his mama hold him in her arms and seeing the peace on her face knowing he truly was here safe and sound. He was worth the anticipation and excitement. He is simply precious and a sweet gift, one that I got the honor of capturing.
